I love my Wing. I'd been wanting one for about a year, so I was excited to find it on sale on Letstalk.com. I keep finding things new on it all the time. I got a plan that has more minutes than I really need, but you have to spend time playing with it right? And calling all your friends to tell them about your new phone! I wish I had gotten a blue-tooth headset with it, because I find that most of the time I'm on the phone is in the car, and without a headset, it's a bit of a distraction. Plus, in the sun, the display is hard to see. Other than that, this is the best phone I've ever had.

I love this phone/PDA. The reception is good, and the features are incredible. Windows Mobile 6 has everything I needed and more. The touch screen makes this device superior to others. Viewing the screen in bright sunlight can be a challenge, but the pros far outweigh the cons. The battery life is good. The voice recognition is better than any other phone I've had in the past. I think this is what Microsoft is using in Ford automobiles with its SYNC product. Form factor is just right. The device is not too big and not too small. The slide out keyboard is great for composing emails or hammering out text messaging. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections work without issue. I put a 4GB micro SD storage card in there ($15-$20 on EBay) and I was all set. The Phone/PDA comes with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Reader. You don’t download ringtones with this device; instead you can make or use any mp3 you own. You must be mindful of how many apps are open at once or you’ll run short of memory. Then again, it’s a Phone/PDA, not a PC, so don’t expect it to perform like a laptop. If you are a business user and you need your Microsoft apps at your fingertips, this is PDA is a good choice.

This phone is by far my favorite phone I have ever used! Little different at first kind of different to get used to the touch screen as your main calling number pad! However once I was used to using it it is great! The only thing I would recommend when you buy this or get it free from lets talk, is to spring for the 3000mah battery the battery that comes with this unit does not even last a day if you use this phone to its full potential like I do! With the 3000mah extended battery you get about 2-3 days of full use web browsing mp3 playing and phone calls its great! Buy this phone its a lot of fun and functional!

I think the T-wing is one of the best new smart PDA phones out on the market. The stylish design and full qwerty keyboard gives you the feel of a home pc, the buttons are a bit too smooth to press on but the wide screen makes up for that. The battery left should have been better then the 3hours it gives but the right car charger and its promising speed of charging makes the phone still good to use.

I was devastated when I found out that T-Mobil was not carrying the Motorola Pebl. I have never been a smart phone guy or really care for them, but The Wing has been one of the smartest purchase I have made. I absolutely love it! It is my new favorite item! It has so many options, and the sliding keyboard is to die for! The internet connection is fast and secure. I am very pleased with T-Mobil's The Wing and would recommended to any one who is looking into buying a smart phone. I personally think The Wing is better than the I phone.

I love this phone, However the touch screen is very sensitive so you have to be careful to lock the phone when not in use. It is sturdy and stylish. I had trouble syncing my information and using the ActiveSync feature but all you have to do is temporarily disable your firewall on your antivirus software and it works fine. I think it is actually better than the I-phone from what I have heard. I love the fact the LetsTalk.com gave you a free 1GB MicroSD card with the phone. That saved me an extra 30 dollars, but i plan on getting a new 6 GB card they have now. All in all a cool phone that makes you look like you are rich.

Generally nice device. I have had it freeze a few times but nothing a restart cannot fix. The software that comes with it (Microsoft) isn't the greatest; it would be nice if HTC would actually engineer some nicer software like Nokia does. Battery life is indeed a difficulty. With the Wireless, Bluetooth, and phone all on, the battery lasts a mere few hours -- however that is quite a workload. The charger adapter I love to hate. It is good in the fact that there is virtually anywhere a USB connection is you can recharge your phone. However, if you lose the adapter - YOU CANNOT CHARGE YOUR PHONE!!! ACK!

Since having my tmobile wing, I have found that there is actually no really good carrying case for this phone. It is highly sensitive, and will call people when you don't want it to. Also, my screen has been sticking quite a bit. I don't know why that is, but it has. I have questioned the real need for all the functions on my phone several times, but think that maybe one day I will learn to use the phone to its capacity. Overall, it is a very good phone, and my experience working with LetsTalk.com has been very good. My husband simply loves his phone, and that was the real reason for getting them, so that makes it all worth it.

I LOVE the HTC Wing! I had the MDA prior to this and all of the problems with that phone (e.g. phone freezing up, bad reception, dropped calls) were fixed in this model. Plus, they added some cool applications, such as a task manager that makes it easy to end programs and voice recognition software where you no longer have to program the voice tags. You can set the phone to announce incoming mail, meetings, tasks, etc--which is very cool when you're driving. The phone is very easy to use--especially if you're familiar with Windows. This phone is a gazillion times better (and more functional) than the iPhone.

I really love the wing. I have had my phone for over 1 month and I still loose hours of the day going in and out of the different components of the phone. The only negatives of the phone are the shorten battery life and the camera. Often, I have to clear all running programs from the phone in order to use the camera.

The call quality on the wing is good, not perfect, but not any less good than any other phone I have ever had. I gave this a four, and would have given it a five only if it were better than the rest but it is simply the same call quality as every other phone I have ever had. Ease of use is also good. It does take some learning, and it actually requires some downloads to make it really cool, and make the ease of use even easier. I would have given this a five if it came with the few programs I downloaded to make it run the way I wanted. Design is about the same, but this one is a four and a half for one reason. You can assign whatever you want to all the buttons on the phone, so although they came for me the way I wanted, someone who wants a button to do differently could change it. The only thing I don't like here is that sometimes when in a call, my cheek touches the screen and gets into other programs while I'm talking on the phone, and then sometimes I hear a beep or something from those programs. More than anything it is annoying because I have to quit those programs later. On that note, programs don't just quit when you X out of them, which I do not like. You then have to go into the top right corner of the main screen and push stop all to end whatever programs you have started. If you don't do this, it could start running more slowly. Battery LIfe, I gave a three out of five only because this was a little bit worse than other phones I have had. I talk a lot, always have, and I don't like to charge anytime except at night when I sleep. Other phones I have had would work the second day and make it until the second night if I forgot to charge it one night. The wing will not. It Will die on the second day if you don't charge it after a day of use, and use it the next day. (all of this assuming you talk or use the phone a lot like me). Overall, I would highly recommend this phone. Especially if you get it for FREE from letstalk.com. Oh and be sure and tell someone at TMobile how much you paid for the phone, since with a two year contract they still charge 300. But we get it for FREE with a two year contract. I love to rub it in their face anytime I can. (I don't like Tmobile much, but love Let's Talk!)

I love this phone. The call quality is great. Plenty of features to keep you busy. Very easy to use. Setting up the ActiveSync was a little difficult but it was minor trouble. The battery didn't make it through the night for me but I had some features turned on that drained it. Overall I think this a great phone. Compared it to an Iphone with someone at work and I like my Wing better.

I love the touch screen and the slide keyboard.. I didn't expect the quality of the internet picture and efficiency to be that awesome but it is. The camera is great too, though sometimes the memory is too low on the unit for it to activate :( the only other negative thing is that the volume isn't as loud as I would have liked it. But the quality of the ring tones and songs is great. No regrets.

T-Mobile's plan is awesome $19.99 unlimited internet and e-mail and no stupid tethering charges for attaching your laptop ( Check ATT's added cost for that!). I added the SPB Mobile Shell software and that really makes the Wing super easy to use. My only complaint is that occasionally when the phone rings as I pull it out of mu holder the call is already answered. I would like to have away to disable the call/answer button- I have seen software that will let you re -program the answer button so that you must tap it three times to answer, I like that idea - it will prevent me from dialing back whoever just called me .. that has happened a few times. All in all I love the phone and the deal i got through LetsTalk.com was great! I am glad I did not pay the $299 for the Tilt and then get screwed even more by ATT's plan.

I love my T-mobile wing. Its a little slow but its because I have a lot of stuff in the phone. Besides that, I would recommend this LetsTalk.com to everybody I know. In matter of fact, I had my mother go through this website to purchase her phones and plan and she is also beyond happy. I recommended to my friends, boyfriend, and loved ones. Lets Talk is a great website and provides expedited and fantastic service.

Overall the HTC Wing is not bad, takes a lot of getting used to. Calls are clear mostly good service, i like the digtal keypad on the screen similar to the Iphone. The internet can use a little work, following links on web pages usally don't work but as for the basic internet not bad. Download times aren't that bad either. The phone is not compatible with apple computers and the built in phone memory is kind of small. Lots of applications and things to play with, Microsoft word, power point and excel are built in. Battery life all depends how much you use the phone throughout the day. If your on the internet and messaging for most of the day your left with about 30% of your battery.

I love the HTC Wing.....its sharp, unique and does whatever an iphone can do....honestly... My phone calls are clear, I can get access to the internet with ease and whenever I'm not using my phone, I keep the keys on "lock" so I don't accidentally call someone.... So far I have been quite pleased with the Wing and T-Mobile's service. Call quality is exceptional, and I have rarely dropped calls. I often have to turn down the volume on the handset for calls where I am used to having to keep it almost all the way up on previous phones. It has taken some time to get used to dialing with the touch screen since there is no real physical distinction between buttons. Battery-life seems a bit shorter than I would like, but I only charge about every 3rd day with my current usage. Switching to T-Mobile has been a pleasure, and the Wing has been a great phone for the price on LetsTalk.

My new wing is great. I did not rate it as 5's across the board but I do really like it. Call quality is pretty good, ease of use is great, once you get used to all the features. the design is nice, but the slider is a little loose when on the phone. Battery life could be better when you use bluetooth or wi-fi it drains the battery pretty fast but you still have power for more than a day which makes it alright, you just need to charge it often than. Overall I would buy the phone again!

I love the HTC Wing! I always get compliments on it...the touch screen is pretty sweet. If you buy a 1 gig memory card pretty cool for music, I would use it as an mp3 player for jogging or anything, but if your just walking around the mall or in a long car ride or something it is awesome. The Microsoft office tools are really handy also...

I totally love the HTC Wing, what more can you ask for. The phone does everything but baby sit the kids. The functions on the phone works perfect, the only complaint would be that I wish it came with more internal memory. If not, you probably want to get a memory card the moment you purchase the phone. No drop calls and no freezing on the phone. Wonderful product !!!!

Not so sure what everyone else is griping about. My battery lasts longer than any other phone I've ever had and everyone comments on the great call quality. Please don't list a review on your phone if you got a defective one. If I had to rate this phone out of five, it would be 4.5. The only reason for this is that I am not an expert techie yet, but I'll figure it out. Trust me, this HTC Wing does everything! With a good memory card, it's not as slow as everyone says. Decent speed.

I love the HTC Wing when it works. We got two of them and one of the touch screens malfunctioned on the 15th day. Then we had problems with the mms. I spent more time on the phone with tech support than I did with the phone in general the first month. Now the phones are working, and they are awesome. Definitely not a phone for someone that doesn't do well with technology though.

I think that the HTC Wing is a good phone overall. There are a few things that really irritate me about it like the fact that I am constantly erasing my browsing history on it or it will show low memory. The Wing doesn't have enough memory to support all the things that you can do with it. On the other hand, I really like the style of the phone and the fact that it is Windows based. I can't buy ringtones from T-Mobile, but there are other ways to get music on the phone. Like I said, the phone is great overall. If I could change anything about the phone I would add more memory to it.

The HTC Wing does not do as much as I thought it would for a PDA, plus there is not a lot of content for the phone just yet. I also had to perform a master reset after the phone locked up on me, but I am still learning all of its features. Overall it's a decent phone, touchscreen and all, plus accessing the phones files is a snap.

The HTC Wing is absolutely Amazing. I initially wanted an iPhone like everyone else. However, I was attracted to the Wing's Qwerty Keyboard. Well, it turns out that the Wing's touchscreen is just as cool as the iPhone with the added benefit of having a keyboard.

With the HTC Wing, you have to lock the phone or it calls people (I guess because of the touch screen, so I'm adjusting to that). Sometimes, I guess because of it's sensitivity, the phone will even call people if it is locked, if you press on the phone while it's in the case (while wearing it, I bent over to pick up a paper and called my husband!) I love the qwerty keyboard which I've never had before. It has so many functions, it's not easy to just pick up and use, but I'm old and have to take things slowly. I've had it now for two weeks and am beginning to get comfortable with it. The battery lasts two days with very minimal use. The camera quality is fine for outdoors or very well lit areas, but terrible for inside unless you want your pictures to be "yellowed". Also, you can't purchase ringtones from T-Mobile with this phone because apparently this has to do with the phone being Windows Mobile. I still can't seem to get to my voicemail quickly, but I'll eventually figure it out. I like T-Mobile though. We are a family of four and with two teen daughters, the family allowances program option is a mother's dream. The carry case that it comes with works great for me.

I love the design of the HTC Wing, but the keys and the buttons are just too close together. They need to spend more time on getting more memory into the phone then what they did on the design. I am a true believer in T-Mobile. There is no better cell phone or home phone company on the market, but lets get this phone right people.

I am very pleased with the wing and although it took a little while to learn how to enter and change functions, it is very functional for myself. It is easy to use and I haven't had any problems with it.I like the function that lets me use it as a modem for my laptop, because when i m away to some to other area, I do not have to worry where I can connect through wi/fi.

My daughter and I both got the HTC Wing. She went to a different cell phone with Verizon. I kept mine only because I thought the trial was 30 days and when I called it was actually 14 days. We were both ready to throw them through the wall, but I really did not have a lot of time to try the different things as I am so busy. Now that I have had it more, I am beginning to like it. I found I just did not know how to operate it correctly. I had to get used to the touchscreen. I do not use the wide angle a lot, but the Wing does have a lot of nice features. I had been looking to go to Verizon's LG 9400 with TV, but it does not have mobile office so right now, it was a toss up as to what I would have rather had. If T-Mobile comes out with a TV and all the stuff my wing has, I will switch phones. I thought it had GPS, but found out it does not. I went to a T-Mobile representative and they said to download Google Maps and it gives GPS, I just need to know if it costs me every time I go on that site. I did not like the fact that I cannot go on my bank site and check my checking acct. I found out the Wing is not Java enabled.

I love the HTC Wing. I am still learning all the things it can do. It is easy to use I think. I hope they are durable cell phones for the purchase and replacement price. I bought two, one for me and one for my daughter. I am new to T-Mobile so I want to see the call quality, dropped calls, etc. compared to my last carrier. But, so far so good. I had to call with a question, and a very nice young lady from Texas was very helpful.

With the HTC Wing, the user interface is very slow. Calls sometimes drop even though the signal strength seems good. The screen sensitivity seems good. I can use my fingers instead of the stylus. The only problem I have is that the scroll bar does not work well with my fingers.

The HTC Wing is awful. Battery life is terrible. It has to stay locked to keep from pocket dialing or making unwanted phone calls. The back light never shuts completely down. It is bulky and has excessive weight for something so small.

I am not a long talker however this phone has so many features that do not consist of just talking and using these features/plus talk zaps my poor little battery. The first time I used it on the way to work around 7 and during work (SMS), my battery was dead before 2pm. while having a full charge when leaving the house. Sometimes my calls are too low but I still love this phone. Accessories here I come!

At first I couldn't believe that the HTC Wing was free. But, later I got it in the mail and got it activated and did not pay a thing. I would recommend this cell phone to anyone who likes a qwerty keyboard, easy email access, and viewing word documents right on the phone.

I must say that I was really happy that I was going to receive the new HTC Wing. I was happy with the Wing for about a month. My Wing would not allow me to text or receive messages. It would not allow me to make calls. My Wing would literally shut down on. I was very disappointed. When I called the T-Mobile store they told me that I would not receive a new cell phone and that it would be approximately $39.99 to fix.

The HTC Wing is a very good cell phone. It is easy to use and figure out. It is fully capable of anything. I recommend getting a 1GB memory card to increase the Wing's capabilities. The slide out keyboard creates no problems for typing fast. The battery life is a bit of a pain, but all the features makes up for it. It is very durable. I have dropped mine many times on pavement and there is no real damage or anything. It is heavy and calls people when stored in your pocket or not on lock. The touchscreen is very responsive in a good way. The Wing comes with a useful carry case. The only problem I have is sometimes it is a little slow with multiple applications running at the same time.

I must say that I love my HTC Wing. I think it is a great cell phone, but it does have a few quirks. There is very limited memory so you need to keep an eye on the task manager to assure that you do not have too many open applications. You can change a setting in the task manager that makes it so you actually close the program when you hit the x or just minimize it, but even with it closed you will find at times open applications. The battery life is excellent. I have to mention this because of a previous review. If you leave the WiFi on, it will run down the battery quickly, especially if you are in an area where you cannot connect. I only turn on my WiFi when I need it. I had my cell phone on all day yesterday with the WiFi off and at the end of the day my power percentage only went down 2%. The wall charger that comes with the Wing works quickly. The USB charger works slower and you have to turn the phone off. The signal on the Wing is excellent.

I had to return my HTC Wing for a couple of reasons. First of all, the cell phone kept dying after only two hours even after being charged overnight. Secondly, the cell phone kept indicating that I had text messages when in fact there were none.

The battery on the HTC Wing doesn't stay charged very long. I can charge it in a for a whole day and in a couple of hours its run down. I've even set my back light to minimal usage and it still is bad. Other than the battery, I must say, I love this phone

I purchased the HTC Wing for work and appreciate it's multi-functionality. With that said, it is not that easy to use as a cell phone. The voice command feature is virtually useless. Also, T-Mobile does not do a good job of informing you that IM via Yahoo or any other messenger costs you at the text rate unless you are at one of their t-zones. One might think that messengers using the internet would not be charged as a text, but there is no warning until you get your bill. On the plus side, I love the transcriber, keyboard, and general functionality of it. I am still learning. The battery lasts a long time, but I don't use it to its fullest capacity though. The plan is all right, though Sprint seems to have more features on their HTC cell phones with a similar data plan.

I really like the HTC Wing. The best feature on the cell phone is the touchscreen. The Wing has good call quality and never loses service. The only problem is saving data on the device as opposed to a memory card. Without a miniSD card to save data on, the Wing runs really slow.

I really like the HTC Wing. My advice to a new buyer is to not give up on this cell phone. The internal memory could have been better, but if you buy a microSD card, it will help. My only real problems are that the camera does not have a flash and there are almost no accessories for the phone. My boyfriend has a BlackBerry and there are a vast assortment of customizable options for the phone. Maybe one day T-Mobile will make some accessories for this phone. If they did, I am sure the Wing would have no trouble competing with iPhone and BlackBerry.

I got my HTC wing on June 30, 2008. My plan is good, but I am already having problems with my "Wing", I have not dropped it or anything. It freezes. I have to take the battery out and turn it back on. Sometimes it does not allow me to make calls. It says, "please try call again later", which I believe that has something to do with the network. I like the actual style of the phone and that I can tap things with my nail instead of using my finger. Other than that, the phone is not what I expected to be getting.

The HTC Wing is a great cell phone. It is very easy to use with one exception; downloading and connecting my company e-mail has proven problematic. I've been on line with tech support and they are the best I've ever spoken with in terms of willingness to help and ensuring the customer understands what is what. We never could get the phone to connect to my email. Other than that, I love this phone.

After a month of using the HTC Wing, I am loving it. I cannot believe it took me this long to get a smart phone. The Wing has performed quite well. It isn't the fastest smart phone out there because it has a slower processor than most other smart phones. But, that helps save battery life. Battery life is pretty good. I charge every couple days and that is because I use the Wi-fi in the house and the T-Mobile Internet outside of the house. That is one thing that could be better. The internet data connection isn't terribly fast. Certainly you can live with it, but it would be nice if it were faster. But that isn't the Wing's fault, it is T-Mobile's fault. When using the built-in Wi-fi, the Wing is plenty quick.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one with major problems with my T- Wing. The Wing is constantly freezing on me and I am always having to re-power it, at least a few times a week since I bought it in January. My screen flickers a lot and will randomly shut itself off. I've probably called T-mobile at least 10 times but they say its a software problem and they just tell me to do a master reset. I've probably done that about 20 times (while on the phone with t-mobile and on my own), and still it doesn't help. I've never dropped the phone or gotten it wet. T-mobile says they can't replace the phone for me because there's no problem with my phone its the software, and all I can do is just master reset whenever my phone freezes. I love this phone I've wanted it since it came out. I love everything about it except for the fact that it keeps freezing and powering off on its own. I'm guessing I must have just gotten a lemon thats not replaceable. Everything else about the phone is incredible and when it's working correctly is my lifeline.

The phone is great for talk, music, and internet. At times I feel like it has too much of an computer personality. The phone features and automatic standby similar to a computer. At times when the device goes on stand by it completely turns off and I'm not able to restart it. I then have to remove the battery from the phone for a few seconds then put the battery back in just to turn the device on again. Overall it's a nice phone, but like all things in life it has it's bad points.

It is very cool phone, easy to send and receive emails and txt messages and multimedia and IM . Also with its calendar I can get organized, with the Microsoft's office it is great I can transfer most of my excel spread sheets and word as well and without forget the power point. It is great to keep organized and the good thing with the WIFI I can do connect at my school wireless network. Clear when you speak and very handy and durable material and very good battery life . So I strong recommend this phone if you are multi task. In Fact I did buy another for my wife.

Great phone if you can get it cheap. Phone features are a little hard to use but its almost like a mini-laptop with windows mobile 6. Battery needs to be charged daily if you use it a lot. T-Mobile data service is slow but it is cheaper than everyone else so I guess you get what you pay for. I did hear a rumor that they will be upgrading to faster service towards the end of 2008 so I will wait and see.

The phone is good, I have no problems withe the phone. I have no problems with T Mobile, clear and useful. Since I was moving, to another state, I subscribed to the full internet package. A useless $20 x 24= $240 loss. The device uses Mobile 6 by Windows. I use Xp on all of my desktop systems but that's as far as windows goes on my systems. The search engine for Mobile 6 is as useless as a tit on a bull. It showed me everything BUT A DOCTOR FOR RENO NEVADA. So what good is it?? Useless, I say. Otherwise the phone has some useful features.

Great phone if you like texting a lot with either the sylist or the available slide out key pad. The camera produces a great picture with it's 2.0 mega pixel camera lens. The only problem I've had is with regards to the speaker during calls. A better design speaker for clarity would have made this the perfect buy.

Several problems with this phone. I will list them for you in detail: 1. Camera malfunctions. Phone always displays "not enough storage..." 2. Media Player won't start. Phone alerts user with "not enough storage..." 3. Cannot operate camera or media when wifi is on 4. Cannot operate camera when media player is on 5. Insufficient storage space on phone itself (limiting internal memory) 5. Phone is slow when using menu 6. Dialing a contact from contact list dials the last number called instead of the contact you selected...

I have had numerious problems with my T-Mobil Wing. From trying to get my Bluetooth to work after charging, to syncing my Wing to my PC, to trying to get notification for missed calls. If I was able to return my phone for a different model I would. I use to have Sprint as my carrier. I find no difference in call quality with T-Mobil, only in losing calls that are out of areas,I can reconnect faster.I don't like the My Faves because you can only change the number on the 1st. of the month. Also there is no plan with T-Mobil for TV, or calling before 9:00pm as with Sprint.

I wish it had dedicated number buttons to make it easier to make calls. If you have large fingers, you will always have to rely on the included stylus to use the touch screen. My fingers are small so it works ok. Gets GREAT reception in an area that every other cell I've seen gets very little. Calls are SO clear! Has great features and applications.

I am extremely happy with the Wing overall. The call quality and data reception speeds are top notch. The only cons I have found is that I have to reboot at least once a day and there is not enough memory in the phone itself. While most programs can be run from a storage card there are some things that have to be installed on the device's memory and it runs out very quickly. As far as the functionality of the device it is basically like having a mini PC in the palm of my hand.

PROS: I love it. The Wing does it all. Well designed: The housing is soft and easy to grip. The slide out qwerty is fantastic making the unit smaller than other smartphones that I considered. Features galore. Very customizable with Windows Mobile. All the best of a PDA, MP3 player, digital camera, mobile web and e-mail. Oh yeah, it's a phone, too. Screen is nice and bright. Touch screen makes it easier to navigate than non-touch smartphones. Nice case and extra stylus comes with it. CONS: I knew all of this going in and most of the cons probably apply to all smartphones. Steep learning curve unless you're used to using a similar device. It will take awhile to become familiar with this but it's worth it. Battery life isn't great but that is expected with a device like this. Get a car adaptor. To use this to its full potential, get a removable MicroSD memory card. You will gobble up the internal memory quickly. The music player cannot be setup without this and you won't be able to take very many pictures. The system becomes slow when little memory is available, also. Keys must be locked out before pocketing the phone or you will be making a lot of unintentional calls. This is part of the learning curve, though. By putting the Lock selector as the first item on the Today screen, it is easy to get to. Dialing is not as easy as a regular phone. Since there is no tactile feel of buttons, you cannot dial without looking at the screen. I have to wait for a red light now unless it is a speed dial number. Voice recognition doesn't work if there is any ambient noise like WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING. The default notification settings are obnoxious. The thing will be vibrating, beeping, ringing every minute until you go in and change your notification setting. OVERALL: Lots of power in a small package. The Wing helps me be more efficient and productive. I would buy it again.

You know everyone here has said a lot of bad things about this phone so much I was a little nervous to get it but I had already ordered it. This phone is the best phone I've ever had. You can hear everything the memory card you will need to play music. You can have a whole song as your ring tone and the touch screen is awesome!! Makes the internet very easy to use!! The only thing I don't like is when the screen goes black I have to press the power button to get it to light up again or open to the key pad and close it up again to use the phone. I also have to say we were with at&t before going to t mobile and we had heard mixed reviews I would switch providers again they are really good have better reception and I can talk anywhere anytime I haven't had a dropped call yet unlike with at&t .

This is an excellent device. The phone sound quality is wonderful. It comes with stereo headphones that have medium sound quality for music, but works very well as an MP3 player. Overall I like the design of the phone. The slideout keyboard works well. My biggest complaint is that the engineers sacrificed RAM and processor speed for battery life. I personally wouldn't mind having a bigger device and bigger battery in exchange for more RAM and speed. The battery life is very good, unless you have WiFi turned on. Some programs and tweaks found on the web have helped to increase the memory and speed of this phone.

The Phone freezes and the screen works when it wants to. If you don't store things to your memory card then it has almost no memory on the phone. The battery life sucks even if you are on blue tooth or playing a game the phone dies very quickly. The calls are most of the time clear and signal most of the time. But when the phone works I guess its not to bad.

The T-Mobile Wing has numerous interface flaws that make it difficult or inconvenient to use. Three that are particularly annoying: Brief text messages must be read and dismissed THREE TIMES before the phone thinks that they are read. Pressing the green phone button will often call a number other than the one that is currently displayed or highlighted on the screen. When the display is off you should be able to light it by pressing any button on the phone, but the only one that works is the teeny, tiny button on the top. These are interface flaws that interfere with the basic functionality of the phone - activating the phone, making calls, and receiving texts. I cannot believe that the Wing fails to make these basic operations simple and intuitive. Indeed, the Wing frequently violates the so-called Third Rule of Interface Design - "No Surprises." The Wing often does things differently than what the user expects. And that's not to mention numerous other interface quirks and failings in Windows Mobile 6. One particularly annoying one is that there is no option to control the number of appointments displayed by Calendar on the Today screen. I don't think I've ever seen a PDA calendar application that is as primitive and limited as the one in Windows Mobile. The T-Mobile "Fave Five" feature does not sync well with the contact list. And to have a web browser in a modern phone that's not Java-enabled is just unbelievable. All in all, the Wing is a tremendous disappointment. I will replace it with a different phone as soon as I can.

The ringer volume should be louder. I can barely hear it even though I've got it at maxium. It is slow to respond. I think it's not bc the screen hasn't changed, but it has. The case is so snug, that sometimes it turns the phone on and calls my favs when I'm trying to put it away. I'm hoping that I learn to deal with the second and third items, but the volume on the ringer is a problem.

I'm very disappointed with this phone, I'm trying to change it now for something better. It has a mind of its own, when texting my top 5 it goes to others in my top 5 not the intended person causing embarrassment. Friends say they ring me for long periods of time and it rings busy and I'm not on the phone. The storage is always full although I have no pictures or added features. Screens pop up when your doing something else. This phone freezes during texting. Drops calls, doesn't get wallpaper that fits the screen, unless u take your own picture. If you don't lock the phone it dials random people throughout your phone book...I was so excited at first to get this phone the feature I wanted was to be able to text and I'M, so the keyboard was what I was after however I have been so annoyed with this phone freezing I haven't really used the keyboard. I know a few people with the same phone and they cant stand it either..It needs to come with a geek so you can set it up, I haven't been able to add music yet, I'm pretty much over it..Looking for something else...

I was very surprised! Some of the reviews said the photos were yellow tinted but I found that to be untrue if you adjust the camera settings. One review said the outershell felt cheap. Also, found not to be true. I really enjoy my new Wing and would highly recommend it to anyone. Matter of fact, I did while at the zoo the other day. The only thing I can say about the T-Mobile Wing in a negative light would be that the earpiece volume is a little low during a call. If you're using a Bluetooth device it's perfect, but the volume on the earpiece speaker itself is a little hard to hear if there is any ambient noise. Other than that I love this phone. The slide out querty keyboard is excellent and easy to use and the Windows based applications work very well.

First off, I love my phone. Secondly, this phone could use some changes, but not fully needed. 1. The earpiece of the phone is a little uncomfortable and I would like for it to have more allowable volume. 2. Sometimes when you exit out of text messaging, it drags and doesn't allow you to immediately enter back in. 3. The battery life, if you talk all day, don't expect it to last. I talk almost 300 minutes a day and text almost 100 messages a day and my battery gets to 10% life by the end of the day. You need to purchase a car charger and maybe an additional wall charger for work. 4. The camera, is just OK. nothing fantastic about it, but if it is a beautiful day, it takes really close pictures really well. The HTC Wing is fun and is worthwhile. I would totally suggest it to all customers.

First off, my last two phones were Trio's, so the comparison is based on my experience with them. I wanted to leave Sprint and T-Mobile doesn't seem to offer a Trio option. The price is great. Call quality is less than what I expected. It requires frequent resets to clear memory. RAM is supposed to be 64MB but the memory screen displays that 43MB is available for Programs, of which 36 is being used and I only have one thing running. Too little RAM for Windows Mobile platform. It tends to disconnect callers when I take it out of the included case. Buttons are difficult to use. Very slow.... probably because of memory issues. I have a memory card and try to put everything I can on it instead of on internal storage and still internal storage available is on 19 MB. Battery life is limited to less than a full days work.

Lot of promise with significant letdowns. It's OS works well except there are problems with call making and receiving. Pound for pound is still a pretty good phone. Camera works very well with lot of other useful features. Does require frequent charging depending upon phone use. Does need further refinements and will be a great phone.

Great PDA for the value on LetsTalk.com. Got the phone free plus 50 buck mail in! I even use the phone at home as a modem for the internet and saved myself 50 bucks for DSL...Its slower than DSL of course but it still does the job. A big upgrade from my MDA...Windows Mobile is awesome. The only negative is that I don't receive Picture messages from other phones? I don't know why....

I like the size and shape of the T-mobile wing, but it is very slow within the internet service. I read the reviews on the LetsTalk website but I had to get my own experience. The internet is tortoise slow and the programs sometimes freezes.there are too many programs for this small device if it was to work properly it would need a faster OS. other than that the sound is nice and nice features but they need to improve the internet portion of the phone. Also the battery life is not that bad as long as your not playing the music player all day. It last the hole day on one charge with regular use without the music player being used. Other than that the phone is not that bad

The wing looks cool but is a bit complicated for my use. I was considering the t-mobile sidekick id at first - but it did not have a camera phone. I had waited for the sprint rumor for a long time based on the description on the internet - but when it finally launched I was disappointed. I came across the wing surfing the net and it looked like exactly what I needed - text with an easy to use keypad - one letter on one square, camera, etc. - so I dropped sprint (and paid to get out of service contract) and switched to t-mobile for the wing. I did not like the sensitive face-pad, too hard to dial or enter a a number ,and phone sound quality was pretty poor and over-all not a very user friendly phone. The carry case was difficult to use as well. The battery life was very short and seemed to need to recharge too often. I am awaiting the replacement phone, the curve. A co-worker that has the curve is very happy with it and recommended it so I hope it lives up to expectations. The info on the internet makes it sound very appealing and like what I need. Please let me know if you need more information on my experience with the wing.

The Wing has turned out to be a very good phone. It's the right size with the right features. Battery lasts about 3 days which is pretty good for the amount of use it receives. Love the WiFi. T-Mobile service has been very good and I haven't had a problem with reception. My one complaint would be that smaller markets have the higher speed network but my home market which is large doens't.

This is the worst phone I have ever purchased in 20 years. The phone needs to be rebooted every 4 hours in order to make it work. Sometimes when you slide the phone shut it turns off for no reason. I use a 2 gig storage card for all attachments and files bu the memory is so small that downloading 1 web page freezes it up. The phones ease of use is okay and fairly simple. The design is horrible especially when taking pictures as it dosent take much to block the lens and the speakerphone is like your listening through a pvc pipe. The only plus is the battery life which is exceptional. Overall the phone is a waste of money but I paid 300 bucks for it and I am stuck with it. C.J. Mcdermott

The only thing good about the HTC Wing is that it looks nice. My screen gets stuck, it blacks out to where i have to cut it completely off just to restart it. Its worse than a computer. The battery life doesn't even last a full day and i don't use it that much.

I really like the T-mobil wing. It has all the extras I was looking for in a phone. I am disappointed in the reception that I get from t-moble though. My husband has the same phne and when I need to make a call over half the time I do not have service and he has 3 or more bars of service. I am really frustrated at this. I don't understand why this would be, we have the family plan, and the same phone. Also the Wing tends to run kind of slow between each screen. I have not purchased the micro sd yet so hopefully that will help it run faster.

Excelent phone, everything that I can do with my computer can be done on this device. Htc did a great job with it, I have not yet found something about it that I do not like. Camera is pretty good, 2mp. Slot for a mini sd card bluetooth, internet, device can be used as a modem with I would say dsl lite type speed! All in all, great device, cant wait for the upgrade to come out!!!!

What a mistake I made!!! Won't take ringtones or programs unless I get them from T-mobile at a price. Most phones I have checked out on the web would at least let you use ringtones from any site ,not this deal! The software that was sent with the HTC Wing won't run at all, it keeps asking for a program that I have had for years with not problems at all. Lets talk even has ringtones for download but you can't with this phone!!! Save money and go somewhere else to buy a phone!

Individually, the scores for the Wing are not very good. The phone is small and light for everything it packs, and I agree, it's a solid cheap alternative to an Iphone. Not as hooked up internet wise, but if you are looking for a smart phone with touchable screen and ability to store a lot of pics and music -- you found your phone! The deal breakers for me are: 1) Ridiculously poor battery life. I've switched out the battery and it STILL cannot last a full day. It'll be fully charged and then will conk out in LESS than a working day. I have a bluetooth headset and I text message maybe 3-4 times a day. Period. Sometimes I'll leave my phone in its case for 4 hours, check it, and it's DEAD. WTH. Maybe my phone is busted. 2)I have VERY petite hands, they are the same size or slightly smaller than my 4 foot something 13 year old girl cousin. And yet STILL I cannot type properly with the poorly designed keyboard. it's like my thumbs are made out of salami. WTH. It drives me nuts because most of the time my text messages get sent incomplete and/or garbled. 3) Text messaging on this phone was a big draw -- but it's deceiving. Because of compatibility issues perhaps with other carriers and phones, my messages get broken up into 2-5 separate messages that get sent OUT OF ORDER. Very NOT cool. Defeats the purpose of having an "easy" method of texting people. 4) The menu interface is not that intuitive. It's easy to accidentally open up a window or function you did NOT want and it's a pain to get back to what you were trying to do. 5) There is a lot on this phone you can use. I have successfully stored some class syllabi on my Wing using the included office software. I am able to check my school e-mail account (use Yahoo) but have NOT been able to set successfully up Gmail yet (not sure it's possible). 6) Internet speed is VERY POOR. Again defeats the purpose of getting a smart phone with a large interactive screen. So -- considering all this, why do I like my wing? Well, I already have it and i consider the only real competition for the wing to be the Iphone. And I don't feel like shelling out hundreds of more dollars for it when what I have at least functions well as a basic phone, planner, and music player.

I don't think this is as easy to use as my Treo. Plus it has been freezing on me lately and very slow to respond to commands. The keypad is somewhat difficult. And if you are on the move a lot very difficult to text compared to the Treo. Phone seems to work better on the Wing

everything about the phone is good except for the fact that it doesn't work at all. Phone is stuck in the intro screen and does not go any further. I have tried resetting, take the battery out then back in, I've tried powering on and off. nothing. The same screen then stuck on that screen. Haven't used the phone no more than three times. good features good ideas, it would be the best I would think as long as it works.

Little disappointed with the phone. Yes it is a great phone. Plenty of features, a keyboard, decent camera, etc. But its just not very reliable. battery life is short, It gets very slow at times (The add on memory card helps with that), and now the touch screen has quit working. And this after only two months.I am waiting for the new phone to be sent out to me (covered under warranty). So no phone for 3-5 days and I have to pay for shipping. Not very happy. JOE-CO

The phone could have been a great phone. Only problem was T-Mobile does not have any towers where I live, therefore, I could not get any reception. I called T-Mobile and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. The first supervisor I talked to was going to make me pay a $200 cancellation fee to terminate my service, even though I could not get any reception. The cancellation team waived the $200 fee, thankfully. The first guy I talked to was very rude about it! I had no problems with the phone, just T-Mobile, I do not recommend getting service through them to anyone!

I think the HTC wing is a very nice phone however, the two buttons at the top of the qwerty keyboard are shared with the letters keys rt & io. Sometimes its difficult to operate as fast you would like because the keys are so close. Also the total internet package is somewhat slow! Unfortunately, I can't watch video because the wing doesn't have flash media playback. Flash media playback technology & faster internet would make this phone awesome!! I'm also worried about the sliding keyboard, I'm afraid it will wear & become loose. Other than these few things, the phone is awesome.

I absolutely love this phone! They fixed most of the problems the MDA had. The only problem I've had is with the internal memory. Windows Mobile 6 definitely takes up a lot more space. It seems that with this new operating system, they should have increased the memory.

Very clumsy. Doesn't work well as a phone. Keyboard is microscopic. Difficult to customize. Internet and email is terribly slow, slow or s l o w e r! I'll sell mine for $125. All you need is your old sim card. Email me: eflick@austin.rr.com

This is a great phone for the multitasker! I recently purchased this phone and I am so pleased with every feature. Dont get me wrong to get the maximum use of this phone u need to purchase a memory card. I found without the memory card some applications were not easy to retrieve. But I'm telling u if u have a busy life or just love the perks of ur pc in the palm of ur hand, this is the phone for u! Now I have my phone, my computer, my video camera, my ipod, etc. In my pocket book everywhere I go. I would recommend this phone just based on leisure!

The HTC Wing is a great looking phone and it definitely turns heads! The only thing about it is the functionality of the phone sucks! Sometimes it will just turn the sound off, the buttons are horribly and annoyingly sensitive, and the freezing up really gets on my nerves. On top of that, I run my own business and I very regularly have 3-way or conference calls and the phone decides when it wants to conference and when it doesn't. This is really trying because when I have to add someone to a call or get on one and it won't let me, then important information is missed and sometimes, it just won't do it period and everything is missed. And to add fuel to the fire, the battery life is horrible! I would just say leave this phone at t-mobile until they come out with the next one and hopefully put the fixes on it!
