I heard this phone has a fancy screen, does it drain battery life faster?

  Re: Battery life Jun 23rd, 2009 0 Post(s) Reply The Impression features an AMOLED (active-matrix organic light emitting diode) screen. What does that mean? It means the screen will produce beautiful color and pictures while drawing very little power, which means excellent battery life, and excellent quality. The traditional knock against AMOLED (well, as traditional as it can be for a cutting-edge technology) is that it's hard to see in direct sunlight. The Impression definitely overcomes this hurdle, the screen is absolutely brilliant.

  Re: misc Sep 25th, 2009 0 Post(s) Reply 1. how many songs can memory hold? the internal memory on the impression is fairly small, 30-35 songs at most. it can hold memory cards, so i would recommend getting one if you plan on storing music. 2. able to watch streaming video? absolutely. it is 3g data capable, so your video speeds will be very, very fast. 3. able to transfer into PC like with blackberry? yes. purchase the data cable, and download the pc management software from lg. 4. other ways that it compares to blackberry thanks! blackberry data plans are $20 more per month than the impression, and you get unlimited data with both, so it will save you lots of money. if you want corporate email, i would suggest purchasing a blackberry.

Outside of this the phone is excellent, with a well functioning Music player interface and excellent social media tools - these maybe the reason for a significant drain on the battery when the phone is in use. So a spare battery might be a good addition to your phone purchase. An internet plan is not necessary for the purchase of this phone.
